Dry oils for face, body and hair in private label, for your brand

A private label dry oil brings your range an oil with a dry touch, for the face, the body or the hair. We adapt an existing formula to your brand, with Tunisian plant oils, and manufacture it in Tunisia.

Dry oil is a paradox turned texture: all the richness of a plant oil, without any greasy finish. Its secret lies in the selection of dry-touch oils and light esters that glide over the skin, penetrate quickly and leave a satin, almost powdery veil.

Oppenheimer Lab composes precious dry oils for the face, the body and the hair, showcasing the treasures of the Tunisian terroir: prickly pear seed oil, olive oil, jojoba oil, flower macerates. Pure, stable formulas, enhanced by signature fragrances.

Private label dry oil: golden stream poured with luminous reflections, formulated by Oppenheimer Lab

01

The dry touch, a science of glide

Not all oils are equal: some, rich in fast-penetrating fatty acids, leave a dry, silky finish; others, more occlusive, remain on the surface. Our formulators master the map of skin feels — dry oils, emollient esters, plant-based silicones — to compose blends whose glide, penetration and finish are calibrated exactly to your brief.

The result: an oil that spreads like silk, penetrates in a minute and leaves the skin soft, satiny, luminous — never shiny.

02

Tunisian plant oils in the spotlight

Tunisia is one of the favoured lands of precious oils. We source locally prickly pear seed oil, extra-virgin olive oil, sweet almond oil and orange blossom and jasmine macerates.

These ingredients, traced from producer to bottle, give your products an authentic story to tell: that of the Mediterranean, its terroirs and its know-how.

03

Face, body, hair: one base, three ranges

Dry oil is naturally multi-purpose. From a common technological base, we develop face versions (lighter, enriched with antioxidants), body versions (more generous, sometimes shimmering with pearlescent pigments) and hair versions (enriched with protective oils). You thus build a coherent range with optimised development costs.

Face, body or hair: framing a private label dry oil

Before choosing a formula from our 500+, decide on the main area of use. Face oil, body oil and hair oil carry neither the same actives nor the same promise, and do not join the same range: body care, haircare or, certified COSMOS or Ecocert on request, natural and organic cosmetics. A single base can then give several products, to be released one after the other.

The texture

Fragrance, bottle and manufacturing model

If the oil is fragranced, the list of ingredients indicates it with a single term (see the FAQ). The bottle must protect the oil, dispense it well and withstand transport: a trial with the formula confirms this before any container order. A more extensively adapted formula falls under custom private label, over 3 to 6 months: our article private label, custom private label or contract manufacturing helps you choose.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How does the fragrance of a dry oil appear on the label?

Under a generic term: Article 19 of Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 (new tab) provides that perfume and aromatic compositions and their raw materials are referred to by the terms ‘parfum’ or ‘aroma’. Substances whose mention is required by Annex III are, however, added to the list of ingredients. We take this into account in the product information file.

What budget should I plan for a dry oil under my brand?

The price depends on the product, the actives and the packaging: free quote, reply within 48 hours. For a dry oil, the share of precious oils such as prickly pear and the bottle make the quote vary. Also plan a marketing budget, which keeps the product alive after its release.

Can a shimmering dry oil be offered for summer?

Yes, the body version can receive pearlescent pigments for a shimmering effect. As demand follows the seasons, put this product in your schedule several months before summer: 45 to 90 days in private label, plus transport and shelving. Better to anticipate than to miss the season.

Can I highlight prickly pear on the packaging?

Yes, if it really is in the formula and the packaging does not attribute to it any effect it does not have: Article 20 of the same Regulation (new tab) prohibits implying that a product has characteristics which it does not have. Prickly pear seed oil is one of the Tunisian oils we work with.
