Texture 08 — Sensory world
Sensory face masks in private label, for your brand
A private label face mask adds an occasional treatment to your range: clay, gel, peel-off or cream. We adapt a formula from our catalogue to your target, then manufacture, fill and package it in our laboratory in Tunisia.
The mask is the ritual product par excellence: ten minutes of pause, a visible transformation. Purifying clay, moisturising fresh gel, radiance peel-off, comforting cream — each family of mask has its own technology, its own sensory profile and its own promises.
Oppenheimer Lab develops and produces all the main families of face masks, with high concentrations of actives and textures that make application a moment of pleasure. From purified Tunisian clay to fresh gels packed with hyaluronic acid, we build masks that are as striking to look at as they are on the skin.

01
Mineral clays: the purity of minerals
Our clay masks combine selected clays — green, pink, white, ghassoul — with creamy phases that avoid the stiff, cardboard-like drying effect. The texture stays supple throughout application, rinses off effortlessly and leaves the skin purified, never tight.
We adjust the mineralogy of each formula to its promise: green clay and zinc for oily skin, pink clay and allantoin for sensitive skin, ghassoul for hammam-inspired rituals.
02
Fresh gels and peel-offs: the show of transformation
Gel masks offer immediate freshness and intensive hydration — perfect as an express radiance treatment or as an after-sun. Peel-off masks, for their part, create an elastic film that is removed in one gesture, taking away impurities and dead cells: an immediately visible effect, much appreciated by consumers.
These technical textures require precise mastery of gelling agents and film-forming agents: drying time, film elasticity, ease of removal. Our laboratory optimises each parameter for a flawless experience.
03
Serum-level active concentrations
A mask is an occasional treatment: it can therefore carry higher concentrations of actives than a daily product. Precisely dosed fruit acids, enriched clays, high-dose moisturising complex — we formulate masks with measurable effectiveness, validated by our tolerance tests.

The texture
Choosing the family of your private label face mask
The family follows from the promise and the target: purifying oily skin, soothing sensitive skin, moisturising, reviving radiance. Each relies on its own technology, and the directions for use change with it: application time, rinsing or film to peel off.
For a first launch, a single family is often enough: placed alongside a cream or a cleanser, a mask completes a routine without multiplying products. It joins our skincare range.
The texture
From brief to production: container, lead times, quantities
Clay, gel or impregnated sheet: each family has its own packaging needs. The container must protect the formula, dispense it properly and withstand transport; we validate this pairing before you order your containers.
A private label project takes 45 to 90 days. Manufacturing takes place on our site in Tunisia, in 700 m² of production, under GMP (ISO 22716): our cosmetic production page presents this stage. Small batches negotiable, from 100 to 200 units.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What precautions for use must the label of a mask carry?
Article 19 of Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 (new tab) requires “particular precautions to be observed in use, and at least those listed in Annexes III to VI”. If the formula contains a substance subject to conditions in one of these annexes, the required warning must appear. The directions for use (application time, rinsing) are written in parallel, with the product information file.
Which mask should I launch first in a face care range?
The one that meets the main need of your customers: a brand focused on oily skin will rather start with a clay mask, a brand focused on hydration with a gel mask. Demand also follows the seasons: in winter, mainly moisturising care and solutions for oily skin. Anticipate these peaks several months ahead.
Can my mask be sold outside Tunisia?
Yes, we export to more than 30 countries. Manufacturing in Tunisia does not exempt you from the requirements of the destination country: define your markets from the brief to prepare supporting documents and packaging. Our article on exporting Tunisian cosmetics details the requirements by region.
Gel mask or gel cream: what difference in use?
The gel cream is a daily treatment, left on the skin. The gel mask is an occasional treatment, applied for the length of a break; it therefore accepts higher concentrations of actives than an everyday product. The two sit comfortably together in the same face care range.
