Moisturising gel creams in private label
A private label gel cream lets you offer a fresh, translucent texture without developing a formula from scratch. We adapt a base from our catalogue to your target, then produce, fill and package it in Tunisia.
Gel cream is the hybrid texture par excellence: it combines the aqueous freshness of a gel and the nourishing comfort of a cream in a translucent, light and melting emulsion. Popular with consumers for its “cloud feel”, it has become a must-have of modern moisturising ranges.
Oppenheimer Lab develops multifunctional gel creams suited to every positioning: intense hydration, fresh effect, sensitive skin, hot climates. Our mastery of gelling agents and high-water-content emulsions allows us to create textures as spectacular to the eye as they are pleasant to apply.

01
The freshness of a gel, the comfort of a cream
Our gel creams are based on emulsions with a very high aqueous phase, structured by latest-generation gelling agents: acrylic polymers, bio-based gums, cellulose networks. This architecture gives a bouncy, translucent texture that breaks delicately under the finger and releases a wave of freshness.
Absorption is almost immediate: the aqueous phase evaporates, leaving an imperceptible moisturising veil, with no shine or sticky effect. It is the ideal texture for markets with a hot climate and for consumers who reject rich textures.
02
A multifunctional platform
Gel cream accepts a wide range of water-soluble actives: multi-weight hyaluronic acid, glycerin, aloe vera, orange blossom extracts, vitamins. We can also incorporate suspended oil pearls, correcting pigments or pearlescent pigments for differentiating visual effects.
Face moisturiser, eye contour care, night mask, after-sun, refreshing body care: the same technological base can be developed into several products of your range, which optimises your development and production costs.
03
Clean and stable formulation
We formulate our gel creams according to your specifications: alcohol-free, silicone-free, a high content of ingredients of natural origin, compliance with organic standards if desired. Each formula is validated by our stability tests and by compatibility tests with the chosen packaging.

The texture
Your private label gel cream project, step by step
Everything starts from a short, stable brief: target, desired benefit, intended selling price, quantity and overall budget, marketing included. A specification that keeps changing weakens both the schedule and the budget.
Next comes the choice of a base from more than 500 formulas, then its adjustment: water-soluble actives, fragrance, colour, claims. The same base can give a face moisturiser, an eye contour product or an after-sun. Allow 45 to 90 days.
The texture
The container of a gel cream, a positioning decision
Its transparency is a visual argument: if you want to show it, the bottle or the jar is as much a matter of marketing as of technique. Do not order anything before validating compatibility with the formula; an airless pump is not always necessary, the trial decides.
Produced under GMP (ISO 22716), each batch receives a number that allows its complete history to be traced within 24 hours; delivery within Tunisia takes 48 hours. The gel cream complements our skincare range and, as an after-sun, our sun care.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Why does each gel cream carry a batch number?
Because Article 19 of Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 (new tab) requires “the batch number of manufacture or the reference for identifying the cosmetic product”. This number links each unit to its production; with us, the history of a batch can be retrieved within 24 hours if a distributor or an authority asks you about it.
Is a gel cream suitable for a brand sold in a hot climate?
It is one of its typical uses: its freshness and rapid absorption appeal to those who avoid rich textures. If you export, name your countries of sale from the start, as stability tests and labelling depend on them. We export to more than 30 countries.
How many gel creams should I launch to start with?
One or two are enough. Small batches possible: from 200 units, or even 100 depending on the project, subject to assessment. Launching ten products without defined customers, price or distribution channel remains the most frequent mistake among project owners. You will expand the base later, according to your customer feedback.
Can pearlescent pigments or oil pearls be added to a gel cream?
Yes, the base accepts these inclusions, as well as correcting pigments. They change the visual result, and therefore sometimes the container to favour. Decide on them at the brief stage: like the rest of the formula, they are validated by stability tests and by packaging compatibility tests.
